   Douching is the process of washing out the vagina and pelvic organs with liquid.

   No, you can use a douche bottle or enema bottle, which are both available in health food stores or on the internet.

   The Chamomile Cleanse Herbal Douche contains ingredients that are friendly to the natural flora of your vagina. Chamomile and Pau D'arco can kill bacteria, viruses and infections, while keeping the tissues of your vagina and pelvic organs healthy.

   How do I make the douche?

   The instructions for using Chamomile Cleanse are below:

   1. Put 4 teaspoons into a large container (such as a teapot or mixing bowl) and add a liter (about 2
   pints) of hot water to the herbs. Leave the mixture to steep for 5 minutes, or until the mixture has
   cooled.

   2. When the water has cooled, pour the mixture into another cup or container, using a filter or strainer.
   It is important to use a fine filter, such as a coffee filter, in order to keep the liquid as “clear” as
   possible.

   3. Put the mixture into a douche bottle or bag.

   4. Stand in the bathtub or shower, and introduce the nozzle of the douche into the vagina, then
   squeeze the bottle slowly to allow the liquid to flow into the vagina.

   5. If you have a vaginal yeast infection, you may wish to allow the liquids to stay in the vagina for
   longer, so the herbs can work on killing the infection.

   If this is the case, you should lie in the bathtub with your hips raised for a few minutes, so the liquid does not spill out.

   For optimal hygiene, keep your douche bottle sterile with a good cleaning solution and lots of boiled water.

    It is not harmful to douche every day with the Chamomile Cleanse, but we recommend you only use it after menstruation and before ovulation.

    If you are trying to get pregnant, we don't recommend douching after these times, as you risk douching sperm out of your reproductive system.
